Red Dead Redemption 3 should feature Landon Ricketts, fans agree
If Red Dead Redemption 3follows the path set by the previous game in the series, the game will most likely be another prequel. This one taking place a few years prior to Arthur Morgan’s ill health and the Van der Linde gang’s final moments. The fans believe we have the right character to play the kind of game.
If you’ve been following the news you’ll be aware that Rockstar Games plans to launch Red Dead Redemption 3 somewhere in the future, but this might not be the game that follows GTA VI. In fact, at the moment we’re not sure when the game will be released in this year’s generation.
There are a lot of possibilities Red Dead Redemption 3 may explore The general consensus appears to be that young Landon Ricketts would be the most suitable protagonist for the third-party game.
The first time we met the aging gunman Landon Ricketts in the original Red Dead Redemption While Landon Ricketts doesn’t make an appearance as a character in Red Dead Redemption 2 however, there are couple of mentions of the character.
John Marston meets Ricketts in the small town of Chuparosa within Nuevo Paraiso, where the legendary gun-toting hero protected the inhabitants as a non-official sheriff. The character also is the one who teaches Marston how to use Dead Eye. Dead Eye ability (don’t think too much about the possibility that Marston is able to use the Dead Eye during Red Dead Redemption 2). The simple way to put it is that Ricketts’ story is a legend. He certainly has an interesting backstory eager to be discovered.
“Is it me or do the RDR3 featuring a young Landon Ricketts sound a bit off?” asked DayneAD on Reddit.
“I find it to be quite cool. They could keep the theme of myth as well as reality.” responded AnElusiveSomething. “Honestly I want for them to develop a fictional cowboy game that is set in the West before it declines. Much of Western media is set during the time when the West is in decline.”
“Playing like a child Landon Ricketts is a great idea for this,” said Brahmus168. “All we have about him is there was a popular gunslinger. We’ve learned that he’s a high-level player persona and has the ability to use Dead Eye as John was the one who taught John how to go back into the game.”
My favorite idea but it’s the idea of a game which simply lets you play the badass cowboy. “I truly want that the game next to do completely different and known as Red Dead Revenge,” one of the players wrote. “No any more hope or redemption but only hatred and rage.”
Yeah, I’m excited to be Red Dead Revenge.
