PlayStation 5 Slim isn’t actually very slim, yet it’s an enormous console
The PlayStation 5 is a behemoth. A wide lad. He’s a big boy. It’s not a bad thing I love the fat child of a tyrant, but it’s a huge ugly blob within the corner of my living room. It’s a massive, looming object that my wife would like to smash using the hammer of a sledge.
That’s why I’d love to see the much-rumored PlayStation 5 Slim model earlier rather then sooner. It is widely rumoured that the slimmer PlayStation 5 model has been accidentally verified through Microsoft in court papers. It was stated that Sony is planning to “release the PlayStation 5 Slim later this year” with the same cost as its Digital Edition console. But, even as we move toward the close of the year, the Slim model is still nowhere to be found.
As previously reported by Wcccftech, a renowned leaker in the industry of games Tom Henderson took to Twitter in recent times to say that his PlayStation 5 Slim actually isn’t so slim as many of us were thinking.
“I do not know anything concerning the current PlayStation Slim rumours and when it’s expected to reveal,” Henderson wrote. “Logically the release date for this game is scheduled for September, an announcement soon would make sense. If it’s going to be named the slim or not, I’m inclined assume that it’ll just be referred to as an PS5 and will be advertised as an upgraded version. My understanding is that this brand new console will take over the PlayStation 5 with the last consoles hitting stores by the end of this year.”
Then he added: “I’ve only seen prototypes. I doubt it’ll be “slim” at all. It will be slightly different in dimensions, however we’ll have to wait and see.”
A mid-gen refresh seems almost certain and a mid-gen refresh is almost certain particularly since we already are aware that Xbox is planning one but it’s unfortunate that the new model isn’t an acceptable size. Perhaps it’s possible that the PlayStation 6 can focus on having a smaller size at least in the interest of my relationship.
