Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty gets massive new update, featuring much-needed fixes.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty now benefits from some much-needed fixes as well as increased performance thanks to a recent update.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty has proven immensely popular with fans since launch, earning rave reviews across various review outlets for both its 2.0 Update which added features they had long requested and also the Phantom Liberty expansion’s exceptional new story for V.
We reviewed it ourselves and consider it one of the greatest video game expansions ever developed in our review; therefore, you should give it serious consideration if still uncertain of your decision whether or not to participate.
Fans have expressed confidence that the new version of the game has reached its goal after its initial mishandling on launch day had so severely undermined its prospects for success.
However, while this update provided many beneficial changes for gameplay and Night City in general, it also brought with it some bugs and performance issues that must be worked through before going live again.
CD Projekt Red recently issued an immediate patch, which address many of the annoying and bothersome issues reported by PlayStation 4, Xbox and PC players.
There was also a game-breaking bug on PlayStation 5, which would corrupt your save file and potentially lose hours of progress, depending on when the bug struck you. While the fix has since been implemented, nothing can be done about corrupted save files already made public and some players may need to start over regardless of any patches released by Sony.
CD Projekt Red has informed players of increased performance on consoles and PC in certain areas, particularly Dogtown which previously experienced frame drops or visual glitches for some players.
Full list of patch notes can be viewed here on the developer’s official website.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is now available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms.
