PlayStation gamers report Insomniac currently stocks PS5.
If you own a PlayStation 5, chances are you are eagerly awaiting another State of Play event. While previous editions focused largely on third-party titles, we don’t yet know what Sony plans on unveiling as first party titles beyond Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Bend Studio hasn’t released a game since 2019’s Days Gone and there have been whispers it could be working on an Uncharted reboot; Sony even shared mysterious Uncharted-like footage in early 2019; additionally Ghost of Tsushima 2 footage was found within that advert by Sucker Punch; Naughty Dog is currently struggling with The Last of Us multiplayer development; we don’t yet know much about Guerrilla or Santa Monica projects either!
Marvel’s Wolverine will surely follow Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 as an expected first party release, leading many fans to conclude that Insomniac Games are carrying this console by consistently producing quality AAA titles for PS5. Their work with Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and now Marvel’s Wolverine have helped keep fans satisfied for quite some time compared to studios who may only release 1 AAA title at best or none altogether compared with Insomniac’s release of 4 AAA titles will cementing this claim that Insomniac is indeed carrying it forward for PS5 gamers worldwide!
Twitter user TCMF2 commemorated Insomniac Games’ accomplishment by writing that, should Wolverine release in 2024, Insomniac would have released four games within four years.” Fans immediately responded positively towards Insomniac, many writing that Insomniac is their favourite studio; one commenting, “Best studio in the world”, while another commented, “Insomniac Games [is probably PlayStation’s] finest acquisition”.
“They’ve overtaken Naughty Dog, and we should discuss that,” someone noted in response to Insomniac Games surpassing Naughty Dog in terms of dominating PlayStation, according to one tweet readout. Their games seem really excellent! Keep killing it Insomniac!
