Counter-Strike remains one of the premier competitive multiplayer shooters, garnering massive interest at Esports tournaments around the globe.

Counter-Strike has always been known to draw fans who appreciate eye-catching skins that sell for ridiculous sums of money, like last April when one gun skin sold for $400,000! Yes, someone actually spent that amount for cosmetic weapon skin.

But last month Counter-Strike 2 arrived as a free update just like Overwatch 2. Unfortunately, due to being distributed this way, its existence as an old game disappeared forevermore.

Counter-Strike 2’s release hasn’t gone as well as anticipated for Valve; many players appear disgruntled with its multiplayer maps and cheaters; this negative reaction even led some fans to review-bomb the game on Steam!

St4ck, an influential cosmetic skin trader for CS:GO who boasts an inventory valued at an estimated $1.5 million has had their account banned and inventory sold off after it has reportedly reached that mark. Although no exact reason has been provided as to why St4ck was banned publicly or on social media platforms such as Twitch; some speculation suggests this might have something to do with unlawful activity taking place behind closed doors.

Dexerto reports that St4ck has been accused of deceiving players out of rare skins by failing to pay them and then selling it at enormous profit margins.

Another related development: in CS:GO, one player shot five people with just one bullet while Valve has no plans of porting its sequel onto consoles at this time.

Counter-Strike 2 is now available on PC.
