Hogwarts Legacy fans were stunned to witness an Unreal Engine 5 Harry Potter remake demo, leaving many speechless.
The Wizarding World is one of the world’s most beloved fandoms, captivating millions who enjoy Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts with its mysterious world of wonderment.
Hogwarts Legacy, Warner Bros. IP’s latest videogame release, is an action role playing game set during 1895 that takes you as an unexperienced student into their fifth academic year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will also arrive this month as an exciting free-to-play title, giving more lucky gamers access to its magical world.
Recently, fans have been advocating for remakes or at the very least remasters of classic Harry Potter titles from the original PlayStation era, starting with The Philosopher’s Stone released back in 2001. I think now would be a fitting time for such games to receive such treatment; whether or not that will actually occur remains to be seen.
Before that time arrives, one fan has taken matters into their own hands and created their own Harry Potter remake concept video with Unreal Engine for YouTube channel Ripper Junkie.
This video mostly depicts Harry Potter flying his broomstick through the skies on modern engines; yet its character design seems inspired by games from yesteryear.
Unfortunately, Ripper Junkie has provided only Harry and what appears to be something similar to Black Lake as per this concept. Perhaps one day Ripper Junkie might consider adding Hogwarts Castle!
Hogwarts Legacy, available now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, with Nintendo Switch release expected by 14 November 2023 (assuming no further delays occur).
