Dino Crisis II has finally made its grand entrance. We can no longer wait any longer!

Ah, Dino Crisis, which Capcom appears to have long since disregarded despite mounting pressure from fans begging them for its return.

Capcom’s silence on Dino Crisis or even remake efforts since 1999 may come as quite a shock, especially given their incredible efforts with Resident Evil remakes and fan petitioning efforts for one, though those pleas seem unheard.

At times, it even feels as if Capcom has intentionally mocked fans with Exoprimal’s inclusion of an online co-op shooter that features an unequivocally red-haired female character who closely resembles Reggina from Dino Crisis’s original plotline – indeed something must have gone amiss at Capcom here?

So, while a sequel or remake to Dino Crisis may not be in sight anytime soon, fans have taken matters into their own hands by creating indie titles like Fossilfuel 2, which can now be found on Steam.

Fossil fuel was released for sale by DangerousBob Studio and currently enjoys a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam. “Fossilfuel is a horror action shooter where players must battle through Jurassic monsters and Super Soldiers on an action-packed cyberpunk experience!” explains its synopsis.

Fossilfuel 2 builds upon its predecessor in every way possible, taking players underwater this time to tap into users’ Aquaphobia. Players “navigate through an underground base flooded by dinosaurs while trying to outwit nature’s dangers and escape,” states Steam’s description for Fossilfuel 2. “With 12 hours of heart-pounding FPS survival horror gameplay and prehistoric enemies as enemies chasing after you relentlessly – can you escape?”?

Fossil fuel two has yet to launch and, therefore, does not yet have any user reviews on Steam; however, its teaser trailer certainly indicates its potential and is worth exploring further. Als,o there’s an early playable demo available so that players can experience it right from day 1.

Fossilfuel 2 will soon be coming to PC, and hopefully, we will receive more details regarding its release soon.
