PlayStation5 Slim Release Date and Spider-Man 2 Bundle Revealed
Last week, Sony unveiled plans to revamp the base model of their PS5, the PS5 Slim. This would significantly decrease in size and weight compared to current console models; no set release date has yet been given. However, US customers should start receiving them by November and then worldwide after that.
Billbil-kun of Dealabs recently reported on an exclusive leak that revealed several Japanese retailers have listed the PS5 Slim with an expected launch date set for November 10, 2023. In addition, billbil-kun uncovered evidence suggesting Sony is planning on offering an all-inclusive PS5 Slim bundle along with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for $559.99 in America.
Though leaks and reports of this nature should usually be taken with a grain of salt, billable-Gunn has earned its place as one of the most trusted PlayStation reporters, often breaking news first about what PlayStation Plus games will be available each month. Given this track record, it seems safe to say that PS5 Slim models may make their debut around November 10, both in America and Japan.
Unfortunately for those living outside North America and Europe (e.g., South America and other locations), no set release date for PS5 Slim has yet been set – we can only hope it arrives worldwide sooner rather than later and keep our fingers and toes crossed that purchasing it won’t be such an ordeal as when first launched in 2011.
