Red Dead Redemption 2: Undead Nightmare 2 will dramatically transform Red Dead Redemption 2.
Undead Nightmare was among the most beloved DLC packs from Rockstar Games ever released, changing and improving much of Red Dead Redemption in profound ways. Now a fan-created mod is following its lead and giving Red Dead Redemption new life yet again; leading us to wonder: why didn’t Rockstar themselves do this themselves.
Undead Nightmare II – Origins is a mod created to add zombies mode into Red Dead Redemption 2, giving fans the experience of living through zombie-infested landscapes as the undead begin emerging from darkness and become hungry beasts ready to devour you from within! Dig in, stand your ground, and fight to stay alive through this undead nightmare as ravenous beasts emerge from within its mist!
“A plague has struck New Austin, prompting its dead to rise from their graves and create havoc among already devastated lands. This mod introduces many changes and introduces several brand new mechanics as well.
Undead towns will now appear throughout the map, most with fires burning to keep zombies at bay; other settlements have fallen victim to undead infestation and require their inhabitants to relocate elsewhere – pushing wild animals out as their home ground has been overtaken by zombies! Undead Nightmares II not only boasts an overhauled visual experience, but features an original soundtrack designed specifically to complement its horror landscape!
According to comments posted on Nexus Mods page, fans appear to be enjoying the additional challenges brought forth by this mod. There’s lots to see here including blood moons, survivor hideouts and “undead apparel”, so players can truly live out the experience!
Though this mod may be relatively old, updates still continue. So if you want an alternate way to extend your time in the Wild West, zombie hunting might just be for you!
