Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 now comes equipped with some much-needed updates that address both representation issues and gameplay improvements.
Recently released patches of Marvel’s Spider-man 2 have contained modest updates, yet will provide players with smoother playing experiences and address a fan-spotted mistake in visual appearances.
Miles Morales’ apartment featured the Cuban flag instead of Puerto Rican. Insomniac directly addressed this error with their latest update by correcting an incorrect representation; “Today’s patch corrects an issue where Cuban flag was incorrectly displayed instead of Puerto Rican flag and deeply regret it; therefore we would like to apologize and strive towards betterment in future updates!”
Also included with this patch, they addressed an issue where models would fail to load after long play sessions and provided more stable gameplay overall – I personally experienced three or four crashes myself but hopefully the stability has greatly increased for players!
Insomniac’s latest update did an outstanding job of adding some quality of life features such as auto healing when focus bars become full, plus an eye-catching high contrast color for perfect dodge. These additions aimed to “improve visual clarity.”
Developer Insomniac Entertainment took steps to add two accessibility features for their game by including vibration settings and controller speaker customization as extra options. They appear quick in acting upon these requests despite only recently making available for sale and answering all community enquiries quickly.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has already won many fans and seen robust sales; and now that its release has taken place it appears only set to become better over time.
