God of War Unreal Engine 5 remake is an artistic marvel.
God of War has long held an exceptional place in people’s hearts and spirits who’ve experienced it, captivating players relentlessly from game one through three. Many fans have called out for remakes but this has gone ignored by Sony Interactive Entertainment; fans, however, may take action themselves when forced by them!
Once we saw the God of War 2 remake, we were taken aback at its gorgeous appearance. Lovingly created by fans and showing players what Kratos would look like after receiving fresh pixels to smooth out his blocky edges from original sequel’s outdated graphics, we were left speechless. So when word came of an Old God of War remake concept trailer for Unreal Engine 5, we just had to check it out, only for ourselves of course; to our great pleasure this masterpiece of Unreal Engine 5 design did not disappoint either!
One YouTuber said of the impressive concept trailer, “This feels like a dream; hopefully one day there will be an official remaster of all games”. Another gamer shared their hopes, with over 700 likes for such remake.
God of War Ragnarok was recently recognized by Sony as being their best PlayStation 5 game ever released and we can only wonder why Sony aren’t capitalising on that to create even greater excitement around this series. People clearly love God of War from day one; as demonstrated by @dominick951, people would readily buy remakes. He elaborates: “To be completely honest: If Sony made another God of War game using modern graphics then I would buy it without question!”
As Sony is working hard on developing its next installment in Ragnarok’s DLC series, no time is being dedicated to returning to its iconic origins of Ragnarok – much to some fans’ displeasure – however its good to know the franchise remains important for its developers.
