Hogwarts Legacy on Nintendo Switch is missing an iconic scene.

Hogwarts Legacy for Nintendo Switch finally launched after months of anticipation, leaving fans both impressed and dismayed after seeing footage online of how it runs – it truly is remarkable that such an ambitious feat runs so smoothly on such an old piece of tech as Nintendo Switch; yet some sacrifices had to be made if true porting could occur.

One of the sacrifices was an iconic Hogwarts Legacy feature cherished by fans worldwide and an integral component of their fantasy-fantasy experience.

Reddit user BlackKyurem14 noticed something notable is missing from the Switch port – none other than Hogwarts Express! In his quest ‘The High Keep,’ at one point players must save an Hippogriff from falling onto train tracks leading into Hogwarts; but when this was completed u/BlackKyurem14 noticed that when flying Hippogriff over them he noticed there wasn’t the train like in other versions.

Redditors also pointed out that Hogwarts Express should have made an appearance, with main characters actually commenting upon its presence along the tracks.

Why was Hogwarts Express removed? Quite likely to ensure optimal settings on Nintendo Switch handheld console. We have seen comparisons of running between versions where Nintendo had cut textures or map sizes due to being underpowered compared with others consoles; its lower power simply couldn’t handle one seamless open world environment featuring all features included within. It may have also improved performance elsewhere since fans weren’t entirely pleased by its lengthy loading times but this port wasn’t ever meant to be flawless anyway!
