Henry Cavill is determined to conquer The Witcher 3 on its highest difficulty.

Reports indicate that Henry Cavill may find The Witcher 3’s most challenging difficulty too much for his liking – although he still intends to continue playing.

Henry Cavill has long expressed his enthusiasm for The Witcher series, reading its books and playing its games, acting out Geralt roles on Netflix’s live-action version for three seasons before leaving to be replaced by Liam Hemsworth after leaving Hollywood.

Cavill’s love for The Witcher began after playing its flagship title, considered one of the greatest video games ever created. Since then, he’s played it multiple times, becoming an expert on its story and lore, though most playthroughs always conclude with Geralt siding with Team Yennefer as she represents his true love in his eyes.

His numerous playthroughs of Death March have so far proven unsuccessful; despite multiple attempts, he never completed it successfully on its most challenging difficulty setting. During a live stream titled “Tales From The White Wolf: A Conversation With Henry Cavill,” Henry Cavill revealed that he has completed Blood and Broken Bones difficulty multiple times but lacks the expertise to advance to higher difficulty settings.

Cavill confessed it took him three attempts to pass Ghouls at first and was less-than-satisfied with his overall performance as Geralt himself, which would inevitably lower self-esteem slightly.

Overall, he described Death March’s difficulty as unfun, yet is confident he’ll eventually master it with practice with Blood and Broken Bones playthroughs.

Henry Cavill has decided not to return as Henry Cabot in The Witcher live-action series for season four – much to the displeasure of fans who called his performance an essential saving grace in an otherwise disappointing adaptation of The Witcher book series.
