Skull and Bones Unveils Year 2 Roadmap with Exciting New Features
Ubisoft has revealed the roadmap for *Skull and Bones*’ second year, promising significant changes and new content for the pirate-themed action/adventure game. After a mixed reception in its first year, the game is set to undergo a major overhaul in 2025, introducing on-land combat, new ships, seasonal updates, and more.
The game’s first year focused heavily on naval combat, but Year 2 will expand the experience to include land-based battles, marking a major shift. Season 1 kicks off on April 15, bringing new features such as the team-based PvP mode “Death Tides” and an item ascension system.
The full Year 2 roadmap includes:
– **Season 1 (April 15)**: Death Tides mode, World Tiers, and Item Ascension.
– **Season 2 (Summer)**: A new ship class (Frigate) and a new fort to conquer.
– **Season 3 (Autumn)**: Land-based combat, new officers with buffs, and battles against a rogue warlord.
– **Season 4 (Winter)**: The Kraken, a new monster boss, and the introduction of the Corvette ship class.
These updates are designed to revitalize the game’s player base, offering more diverse content and improved gameplay. In addition, *Skull and Bones* will be getting PlayStation 5 support in Year 2. Ubisoft aims to win back players who may have lost interest and attract new ones with these exciting changes.
