Fortnite Set to Return to iOS Devices After Legal Battle

**Epic Games** has confirmed that **Fortnite** will soon be available again on **iOS** devices, marking the end of a nearly five-year legal battle with **Apple**. In 2020, the game was removed from the **App Store** after **Epic Games** attempted to bypass Apple’s 30% commission on in-game purchases, leading to a prolonged legal dispute.

The case has finally been settled, and players in the **US** can expect to have **Fortnite** back on their iOS devices shortly. On **May 1**, **Tim Sweeney**, founder of **Epic Games**, shared that **Fortnite** had been submitted to Apple for review, with approval expected soon. This means **Fortnite** could return to the App Store as early as today.

Epic Games has not yet announced any compensation for players who lost access during the hiatus, but when the game returned to **iOS** in the **European Union**, players received the **Katalina skin** for free as a thank-you. Fans are hoping for similar rewards or exclusive in-game content upon **Fortnite’s** return in the **US**.

With the latest **Fortnite season** already live, players can now dive back into the action, obtain the **Galactic Battle Pass**, and enjoy the new cosmetics once the game becomes available again.
