Geoff Keighley reveal Summer Game Fest, a four month long digital gamble celebration

Geoff Keighley’s The Sport Awards have come to be a gambling staple, and today he has declared a new event which will help fill the void left by this season’s continued seminars. The Summer Sport Fest (official site ), coordinated by Keighley, is going to be a four-month-long, all-digital party. Some publishers have signed on to take part in the festival, which will include in-game occasions statements, and content that was playable.

Summer Sport Fest will operate from May to August and is defined for a loose gathering of demonstrations from leading publishers. Discussing with GamesIndustry.biz, Keighley said that although the transition into electronic occasions was hastened by current events, he believes the sector had been headed that way anyhow.

Before this season Keighley bowed from hosting the E3 Coliseum, and that he’s hosting his own series at the vacuum of this year’s greatest gaming event he has given some insight on the reason he left this choice:

I didn’t feel convinced that the series went to reflect the market, and frankly, what I pitched into E3 was because that is where I desired to find things go , something which was international and electronic.

Keighley imagines that apart from conventions that are important, events surrounding one game are envisioned by him. That is a stark contrast in the arrangement of applications and hardware studios. This usually means that will find the coverage that they deserve rather than simply being blurbs between trailers that are important.

Many big names in gambling have signed , and we could expect more prior to the event begins in June, to be announced:

  • 2K
  • Activision
  • Bandai Namco
  • Bethesda
  • Blizzard
  • CD Projekt Red
  • Digital Extremes
  • EA
  • Microsoft
  • Sony
  • Square Enix
  • Private Division
  • Riot Games
  • Steam
  • Warner Bros.

No specific details on what Summer Game Fest will entail have been released. However, the official announcement states that we can expect studios to drop details on their individual events in the coming weeks.
