From time to time, visitors will come to your land mass selling goods, offering to perchase bugs or fish, and asking you to try on different outfits. One guest will let you buy rugs and doing so will give you what is called a Sahara Ticket. This show will explain the Sahara Ticket and what you can do with it.

One vendor who visits our island is Sahara, the camel who sells rugs, strange Wallpaper, and Mysterious tiles. Sahara can be found roaming your island from time to time, although she won’t be present every day.
If you purchase a rug from Sahara when you see her, you’ll be given a set number of Sahara Tickets that can be exchange with her. Rug price and amount of tickets you will receive for each are listed below.
- Small Rug – 1,000 Bells = 1 Ticket
- Medium Rug – 1,500 Bells = 2 Tickets
- Large Rug – 2,000 Bells = 3 Tickets
Keep in mind when purchasing rugs, the style won’t modify for that size if you decide to purchase it again. Once you have five Sahara Tickets you will be able to replace them for a Mysterious Flooring or Mysterious Wallpaper design.
Players can get only two sets of Mysterious Flooring and Mysterious Wallpaper each time Sahara visits your island. One by purchasing them with Sahara Tickets and the other by using Bells. If you aren’t joyful with what you have expected, you will need to wait for her next visit or visit her on a friend’s island.
