NetherRealm have released yet another trailer for its Aftermath growth in Mortal Kombat 11. Since Friendships are a part of the free section of the growth, it only makes sense that we would get a video showing off them. So, in quick succession, we get a choice of different characters doing their increasingly silly Friendships.
They were basically a response to the law enforcement’s outcry against Fatalities. So, the programmers added goofy finishing moves where you can avoid killing your enemy in a grisly fashion. And I’ve missed them dearly, since they’ve been absent for a while. It is wonderful to see them return in MK11, as a free part of this Aftermath DLC.
