Dark Years Summary
Inspired by actual events, Black Years is placing in 1953 Tehran, Iran. Tehran is in the grip of panic after a string of gruesome murders. Important Afshar has been tasked with locating those responsible. Meanwhile, some 3,300 miles off from London, an undercover journalist is given documents that discover a conspiracy of seismic proportions. As both the Major and the journalist delve deeper, their paths will cross, strategies for a coup will probably be found, and Western government participation is going to be exposed. Dark Years is an action-adventure sport based on the actual events surrounding’Operation Ajax.’ In an endeavor to ensure the rights to Iran’s petroleum, both the American and British authorities covertly backed a coup that overthrew the democratically elected government of Mohammad Mosaddegh. The result has been a period of great uncertainty and violence.
