Call of Duty: Cold War is presently going through some growing pains. Such a procedure isn’t unusual for a recently released multiplayer title, but it is still jarring for some nonetheless. As such, some players have taken to social websites to point out elements about the game which have defeated them because they began playing, such as overpowered Cold War weapons, remarkably slow weapon progression, and overall insects.

Call of Duty: Cold War developer Treyarch has recently responded to fan criticism, saying it hears it and plans to alter things. The developer claims it will be delivering a Call of Duty: Cold War upgrade soon. Treyarch’s lead writer, Tony Flame, said explicitly in a recent tweet that players can expect the update to handle weapons, including Scorestreak, and more come Season 1’s birth. If the update does not arrive, then it’ll arrive sometime sooner.

Flame’s tweet doesn’t specify what exactly Treyarch intends to tweak and fix, but since his tweet was an answer to fan opinions, the programmer will likely address most of the things fans have pointed out. As it stands, the largest issues that lovers have involved the MP5 submachine gun and snipers in general. Most of the Cold War community think snipers need buffs because their assortment of passion is”too short” and”comparable to shotguns.” In terms of the MP5, the consensus is that it is totally busted and possibly the very populous SMG ever.

Call of Duty: Cold War Season 1 comes out on December 10, so players will have to watch for a couple of weeks before seeing any notable changes to the match. Unless, of course, Treyarch handles to put out the new patch early. However, Flame’s tweet also said that it was too early to go from this trend information Treyarch is currently becoming, making sense considering Call of Duty: Cold War just came out two weeks ago. With that in mind, even if the patch does release early, it will still likely be more than a week before it arrives.

Balancing firearms is obviously fairly catchy, so it’s certainly not guaranteed that the patch will satisfy everyone when it arrives. However, Treyarch seems confident in it. David Vonderhaar, the programmer’s design director, reacted to the day-one sniper criticism by stating that he wasn’t at all concerned about it since Treyarch has significantly more experience managing Call of Duty than anyone. Hence, he’s sure his team will do the right thing. Hopefully, the spot comes sooner than later, so fans will not need to wait long to learn.
