Assassin’s Creed Odyssey patch adds 60 fps support on PS5, Xbox Series X
Ubisoft Monday announced that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey would receive a new patch (version 1.6.0), which will allow for faster frame rates on the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5. Odyssey can be played at 60 frames per second on these platforms when the game is backwards compatible.
You will need to download the new patch on PlayStation 4 at 470MB and Xbox One at 370MB. Patch notes for the update don’t mention any additional content or feature coming to Odyssey.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the 2018 series’ outing. It can be found on Google Stadia and Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. This is the second instalment in the Assassin’s Creed reboot saga, which began in 2017 with Assassin’s Creed Origins. Odyssey follows Kassandra and Alexios, descendants of Leonidas and siblings who hunt down a cult, meet with historical figures, and takedown myths.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was praised in our game review as “a rich, beautiful, and inhabited world populated by compelling characters”…
