TOTAL WAR: WARHAMMER III’S NURGLE UNIT ROSTER LISTS HAS CUTE FROGS AND LOTS of DISEASES
Total War Warhammer 3 may not yet be available, but the daemonic parade of Nurgle continues with the unveiling of Nurgle’s unit roster. We now have a better view of the pestilent Horde that the oldest Chaos God chose to defend his realm and spread his influence throughout the mortal world.
Ku’gath Plaguefather is the Nurgle’s Legendary Lord in Total War: Warhammer 3 and is at the top of the unit list. He is a big boy with a large mouth and the desire to infect God. He rides a palanquin accompanied by loyal Nurglings.
He plays the roles of an artillery unit and a spell caster on the field. He is also an expert summoner who is well-versed with the Lore of Nurgle. He loves explosive Nurglings, and while he is not the greatest duelist, he can make up for it by being a leader of troops.
The Nurgle roster includes the Herald of Nurgle and the Exalted Grand Unclean One as Lords. They are both solid and rugged thanks to their gGod’sgifts. Both are formidable foes and have access to the Lores of Nurgle, Death, and other spells.
To weaken them internally, Nurgle’s Cultists are then plaguing spreaders and infiltrators of armies and cities of other factions.
Plaguebearers make up the rank and file of the faction. They compensate for their slow speed and lacklustre armour with more significant health pools and strength. This is great when you have to keep your enemy units busy.
The Plague Lord’s Chaos Furies are on the other end. They stand out because of their speed and their ability to outflank enemy units.
Plague Toads can be cute as diseased horrors that want to rip off your face. They can serve both the anti-infantry role and mounts for Pox Riders.
The faction has its version, the Soul Grinder. This all-rounder can lob deadly projectiles at great distances and excels at disrupting enemy formations.

Nurgle’s unit roster is slower, but it’s more resilient than Total War: Warhammer 3’s other factions. Although it might not be the most versatile, it is likely to be very suitable for those who don’t like Tzeentch’s spellcasting or hit-and-run tactics.
Total War War: Warhammer 3 will launch on PC on February 17, 2022. Pre-order bonuses for the game have been confirmed to be the Ogre kingdoms, whose warriors love food and are very large.
