The Tomb Raider Reboot Trilogy is Free to Download for a Limited Time
The Epic Games Store has three Tomb Raider games up for grabs at a low, low price.
From now through January 6, PC owners can download and keep the three games from the rebooted Tomb Raider Trilogy. This means that you can download the Tomb Raider Game of the Year Edition and the Rise Of The Tomb Raider as well as the Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. You only need an Epic Games account.
In 2013, the rebooted Tomb Raider series began and provided a gritty story about Lara Croft’s origin. Although there were still puzzles and tombs to be solved, Crystal Dynamics created a semi-open-world, Uncharted-style setting and combat that would have been right at home in The Final Of Us.
The sequel was even better and offered a larger world with many more things to do and see. Although the final game ended on a disappointing note, it is still an enjoyable enough game and well worth checking out. It’s especially free.
Even if your computer isn’t capable of running these games, I urge you to take them all in anyway. So, when you do eventually get a gaming computer, you have all three Tomb Raider titles ready to go.
