In an interview with Fandango, Amy Pascal, producer of this trilogy really stirred things up. She couldn’t resist interrupting the conversation with information about her upcoming projects while discussing Spider-Man’s latest edition.

“We are getting ready for the next Spider-Man movie together with Tom Holland, Marvel. This is the first of three films. Now we will move on to the next three. This isn’t the end of our MCU movies. Yes, Marvel Studios and Sony will continue to work together as partners.

Tobey Maguire played the role of our swinging arachnid, Sam Raimi in the Sam Raimi Trilogy. He also hinted that No Way Home was not the final piece to his Spider-Man story. It wouldn’t surprise to see Peter Parker’s three-man team in future Spidey adventures. Holland is trying to dispel rumours that he will be returning as the wall-climbing photographer.

Holland explained to EW that Spider-Man’s future is uncertain.

“We have had conversations about the future of Spider-Man. But at the moment, they are just conversations. “We don’t know where the future will lead us.”

Holland stated that he knew Pascal, as well as Marvel president Kevin Feige (and Sony head Tom Rothman), are “thinking about something”, but Holland isn’t quite sure what it is. Holland’s latest movie, Uncharted, will be released 11 February. Holland admitted that he isn’t really thinking about the future. He says that he’s still enjoying the success of his film ( No Way Home) and is happy about it.
