Octane was the first Legend to join the Apex Legends lineup after launch. He also joined the kickoff of Apex Legends: Season 1 on March 19, 2019. The Stimmed-up speedrunner and constantly moving target have made Octane difficult to control. It’s clear why Octane is always on the move once you learn his story. Continue reading to find out all there is to know about Octane the metal-legged Legend.

1. The basics

Octavio Silva, a native of Psamanthe (the planet over which the Olympus map floats), was raised in luxury. Octane, the sole heir to the Silva Pharmaceuticals empire was content during his childhood. Octane wanted nothing, other than a good adrenaline rush.

Their son became addicted to Stim after a series of daring stunts that left him with severe leg problems and unable to walk. His family disowned him. However, Octavio still seems to have the Silva fortune. This is based on the large, graffiti-covered home he lives in when he’s not bouncing around in the arena or on the dropship.

2. He has green hair

Some fans were shocked to learn that this happened because they assumed that the explosive accident that took his legs would also injure his face. It could even have caused him to lose all his hair. Respawn’s Apex Legends comics and the Pathfinder’s Quest book depict the Legend with shock-green hair.

Although his hair is not the most outrageous thing Octane has done, it is possible that his hair was dyed green. With the Mountain Dew-hued Stim he has at any moment, it is possible for his hair to turn green on its own.

3. Lifeline is a long-term family friend

Octane Lifeline

Since long before the Apex games were created, Octane and Lifeline have been two peas in one pod. Octavio & Ajay were born in the same year on the same planet to wealthy, well-connected parents. They spent their childhood playing together, while their parents were focused on their professional endeavours.

Octane’s father, Eduardo, is the CEO at Silva Pharmaceuticals. Lifeline’s parents are owners of Chevrex, which makes security drones. Behind their clean exterior lies a dark secret: Lifeline’s family is a war profiteer and is very friendly with Eduardo, commonly referred to simply as ‘Duardo’). He clearly has no business.
