The ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi Series is Linked to the ‘Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Game
After years of anticipation, Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi is finally coming back to screens. The Obi-Wan Kenobi series looks incredible, judging by this week’s trailer.
When creating a new Star Wars project, there are many things to consider. The franchise grows, and so does the timeline. McGregor learned the importance of canon during production, especially with one videogame that sounds very similar to Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order.
McGregor spoke on Jimmy Kimmel. He explained that all storylines must […] be compatible as “you can’t have any fact in a movie that doesn’t correspond to the movie.” Very interesting indeed.
Obi-Wan Kenobi was reportedly established four years after the events in Star Wars Jedi. Fans have already seen Fortress Inquisitorious in the trailer for the Disney+ series. This location is the setting for the finale of Fallen Order and will be familiar to Fallen Order players.
Fortress Inquisitorious houses The Inquisitors. They are a task force of ex-Jedi to find the remaining Jedi. We know that the Inquisitors, led by the Second Sister, were Cal Kestis’ main enemies in Fallen Order and will be trouble for Obi-Wan during the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
After previously appearing in Star Wars Rebels, the Grand Inquisitor will make his live-action debut with Obi-Wan Kenobi. It’s also confirmed that the Third Sister (and Fifth Brother) will also be present.
Given all the similarities, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Fallen Order can have a cameo. Cameron Monaghan, a Cal actor, also gave his likeness to the character. He could also easily portray a live-action Cal. Personally, Merrin is a character I would love to see more of. We will soon be able to see the secrets of this series for ourselves with just a few more weeks left.
