PlayStation Plus Announces a Massive Selection of Free Games for June
PlayStation has just announced a massive list of free games that subscribers can access when the new PlayStation Plus service launches in June. They’re incredible.
The overhaul received mixed reviews, but the titles will be a hit with some fans. A wide range of first and third-party titles are available, including Red Dead Redemption 2 and Marvel’s Spider-Man. Many of these titles are new to PlayStation’s subscription service.
The highlights of the conference include:
- Bloodborne
- Marvel’s Spider-Man
- Miles Morales: Marvel’s Spider-Man
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Celeste
- Demon’s Souls
- NBA 2K22
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- God Of War
- Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut
- Returns
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Outer Wilds
The critical point is that these freebies are only available to Premium and Extra tier subscribers. Those who stay with the Essential plan, which is the same thing as now with online services and monthly free games, will not be eligible. If you want to get in on the action, your monthly price will go up from PS6.99 to PlayStation10.99 or even to PS13.49 if Premium is purchased.
Don’t forget about classic titles while we are talking about Premium. Here are some of our top picks.
- Ratchet & Clank: Quest For Booty
- Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time
- Ratchet & Clank – Into the Nexus
- Jak, Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
- Bioshock Remastered
- Famous
- Borderlands: The Beautiful Collection
If you have been a faithful PlayStation user for a while, you’ve played many of these games. There are a lot of great titles in this collection, so you’re almost sure to find something new.
The launch of the service is imminent. It will be available in the US and Europe on 13 June and 23 June, respectively.
