Vanguard Leak Claims USS Texas Is Returning

After a disappointing third season, Vanguard players continued to vent their frustration over a lack of new content.

There is no crossover with Operation Monarch, so players are now focusing on Season 4 to see if more content is coming. According to a leak, Sledgehammer Games is now listening.

It is not unusual for classic maps to appear in newer titles. Vanguard already owns its Shipment version and Modern Warfare 3’s Dome. According to the leak, Season 4 will feature the USS Texas, Call of Duty WWII’s returning ship.

USS Texas at Vanguard Multiplayer

The Vanguard developer will reveal information about Season 4 in a few weeks.

Leaks are always first. According to “CODSploitzLeaks”, strings in the Vanguard game files refer to USS Texas. This suggests that its release is not far off.

The USS Texas is located within the walls of a US warship and features multiple levels that add verticality to its map. It is ideal for snipers to do devastating damage, while the compact central area allows for plenty of fast close-quarters action.

Some players are thrilled by USS Texas’s return, but COD enthusiasts are puzzled as to why Sledgehammer Games did not select Sainte Marie du Mont or London Docks.
