Pokemon Violet and Pokemon Scarlet Announced. Launches late 2022
Yesterday’s Pokemon presents revealed a surprise, confirming Pokemon Scarlett and Violet for Nintendo Switch. This news surprised many people, especially considering Pokemon Legends : Arceus was launched last month.

We also saw the Scarlet- and Violet starters for the first time. Scarlet and Violet let you choose from a grass-type (Sprigatito), fire-types (Fuecoco) and water-types (Quaxly), just like all mainline Pokemon games. These are the only new Pokemon that have been revealed so far. We can expect more to be released later in the year.
The visuals of Legends: Arceus and Pokemon Sword have been improved. This drew comparisons with New Pokemon Snap which many fans consider to be the best-looking game of the series.
