After the events of Sniper Elite 3, 1943, Italy is the setting. The Royal Navy learns about a new Nazi weapon and sends a freighter named the Orchidea to San Cellini to investigate. The freighter plan does not work as the vessel is sunk by the newly-developed weapon. It was discovered that the vessel was a radio-guided weapon designed to destroy ships.
Karl Fairburne, a sniper, is dispatched to stop the man behind it. Fairburne is then sent on another mission to finish the task once the Partisan resistance team has been taken out. The mission is to locate the leader of the Partisan Resistance Team in Bitanti village. Sofia Di Rocco is the target. Sofia isn’t sure she can trust those who took her father away from the Nazis.
Sofia asks Fairburne to help eliminate a powerful rail gun at the Regelino Viaduct. He is tasked with proving himself to her and convincing them to join him. This is only a small sample of the many missions you’ll be undertaking. As you may have guessed, the game features a solid plot that will keep you engaged and entertained. Your ability to complete your missions successfully will determine whether you can get allies or succeed in your mission.
Gameplay
This is a stealth-based shooting game. You will spend a lot of time behind bushes, so patience is necessary. This is especially evident in the later stages when you are sent to investigate an old dockyard used by Nazis to ship out weapon parts.
You will have plenty of ammunition, different types of guns, and different weapons to defeat your enemy. All AI has been used to create enemies and allies, but their responses have greatly improved. Your enemies will now react when they are killed, and this will cause others to search for you.
