How to get Player Heads in Minecraft: Guide (September 2022)

Player Heads are a fantastic status symbol item in Minecraft that can be utilized as trophies, to prank your friends, or in some genuinely creative and unusual ways. But how can you obtain Player Heads in Minecraft?

Unfortunately, there is no method to obtain heads in Minecraft without using in-game instructions or exploits. However, if you have Cheats Enabled in your Minecraft world’s settings, you may still acquire player heads.

To begin, use the / key to launch the command line. Then write /give PlayerName Minecraft:player headSkullOwner:PlayerName. The items in Bold should be changed with the player to whom the head should be given and the head to be replicated.

PlayerName should always be replaced with a player’s name.

SkullOwner should be replaced with the name of a player or a mob. The Skeleton, Wither Skeleton, Zombie, Creeper, Dragon, and Player are all viable monsters for a generic player head. The Dragon command summons an Elder Dragon head, a rare drop from The End.

Some Player and Mob Heads may be used to make recipes. For example, you may make mob-shaped fireworks with Mob Heads, Dye, and Gunpowder.

Some Mob Heads can also create one-of-a-kind banners. A Skull and Crossbones banner may be made out of paper and a Wither Skeleton Head. A Creeper Face may be made using paper and a Creeper Head.

Finally, Player and Mob Heads can be cursed with the Curse of Binding or the Curse of Vanishing.
