For example, Derwentwater in winter would freeze and players would have the option to drive on the frozen ice in order to access areas that are not accessible during the rest of the seasons.
All players will have the same environment because the seasons are set across all servers. The shared-world seasons change each week after players have completed a series of prologue events that introduce them to the four seasons.
These changes take place on Thursdays at 3:00 PM BST. Players are notified by a countdown clock that will display the season change. This will cause a brief cinematic clip showing how the old season has changed to the new season. However, it will not be shown to those who are occupied with an activity or event.
