With Diablo 4 having released earlier this month, those who approached it with meticulous planning have likely forgotten any launch errors they experienced at launch under an accumulation of dead.

Though some players may take time away from grinding to assist voice actors with finding their lines or appreciate an emotional side quest’s emotional message, others have kept at it and already reached level 100 by conquering dungeons, bosses, and Helltides.

Now, however, players who lack the time or ability to change playstyle frequently are lobbying Blizzard to provide them with an option to save their builds and prevent unnecessary restarting of each time.

Their character creation-related petition can be found at subreddit r/diablo4, where user KainLTD posted with the statement, “Blizzard: Please let us save builds.”

“At level 80 I want to test out some builds but find it too time consuming and punishing to switch,” they write, noting that currently, taking screenshots or using third party websites are the best ways for them.

KainLTD suggests Blizzard add the ability to save both Paragon and skill builds as purchasable build pages that work similarly to the stash system, along with charges being retained when changes are made so as to preserve balance within its economy.

“[Not having this function] adds an immense layer of frustration [to the experience], thus ending any enjoyable moments,” states KainLTD in their post, encouraging players to upvote it so the developers of their game take notice of this post and address its contents.

At present, over 6K peers have submitted reviews in response to Diablo 4 being released, many voicing frustration over why its features don’t translate directly from Diablo 3. Others lament its absence compared with Diablo 3, as was promised at launch.
