GTA 5 free download has generated many discord among fans.
Grand Theft Auto V has recently returned to Xbox Game Pass. If you haven’t experienced it already, now’s an excellent opportunity to jump in. Plus it happens to be next-gen! Bringing over any characters or save games you might still have from Xbox One can only add another layer of challenge and fun for existing GTA V players who still stick with Xbox One versions!
On top of GTA V’s surprise release, several other titles were also announced as soon-to-arrive on Xbox Game Pass: Sword and Fairy: Together Forever is available now (cloud, console and PC); McPixel3 will become part of Xbox Game Pass on 11 July; Common’hood will join on 14 July; Insurgency Sandstorm PC subscribers can expect this title soon afterwards; on 14 July subscribers will get Exoprimal; 14th sees Techtonica preview followed by Techtonica release; then finally The Cave makes us completes us on 18 July (cloud console and console). There’s lots to enjoy but GTA V seems to have caused much discord among fans; many seem pleased by his sudden appearance but due to GTA V fans discontented gamers as much.
As many fans on Reddit have noted, this isn’t the first time GTA V has appeared on Xbox Game Pass; and likely won’t be its last either. Rockstar often removes a title only to bring it back later down the line; many fear moving their characters over only for it be pulled again shortly thereafter.
Reddit user lickdoorknob warned, “Don’t trust Rockstar on this. They will yank it from Game Pass a month or two later and those who migrated their characters over will have to purchase the next-gen version,” while TheOtherJackBlack commented, “This might be like their fifth time offering it on Game Pass? Seems every few months it just drops quietly off then is back again as something new for Game Pass membership!”
Capgunbandit was impressed to hear of Game Pass adding another 10-year old game for them to enjoy, “Wow a 10-year old game on Game Pass. Hype.” Planchetflaw just shrugged, saying it seemed repetitive but that you shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth!
