Marvel Zombies series to premiere next fall; sees Spider-Man take up arms against undead forces.
Marvel Zombies returns just in time for Halloween in an anthology series entitled Marvel Zombies: Black, White & Blood written by Garth Ennis that kicks off this new endeavor.
Marvel Zombies: Black, White & Blood features art by Rachael Stott, Javi Fernandez and Justin Mason and appears to include zombie-fied versions of iconic characters like Iron Man and Moon Knight dueling each other while Spider-Man seems caught up in an intricate web. Marvel has provided fans a sneak preview via Marvel.com so readers are prepared for release day.
This comic marks the first in an anthology which will tell the tale of an undead plague inflicting damage upon Marvel Universe. Like previous Black, White & Red anthologies, this series will feature black-and-white art with splashes of red throughout; featuring popular Marvel characters like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Daredevil and Moon Knight all like you have never seen them before — making this issue perfect reading material this Halloween.
“MARVEL ZOMBIES IS BACK!” begins its official synopsis. “The undead plague begins here…and won’t cease its attack until everyone falls,” it continues. In this first of four action-packed, original anthology issues featuring Daredevil, Spider-Man, Moon Knight and many more Marvel heroes and villains in battle against ever-growing zombie hordes, with hope perhaps being their only hope against creepy-crawly horror…?
Marvel Zombies: Black, White & Blood #1 will hit shelves on 25 October or you can subscribe digitally via Marvel Unlimited app.
Marvel fans should note that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will launch exclusively for PlayStation 5 console on October 20, 2016.
