Ubisoft’s ever-favorite Assassin’s Creed series will soon see another entry – nearly upon us – when its next entry launches later this year.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be officially out this week. In it, players control a young Basim Ibn Ishaq from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla; however, Mirage takes place twelve years earlier during Baghdad, Iraq’s Golden Age during 861 CE – setting your journey up perfectly with Valhalla events!
Recently, since Ubisoft’s 2017 release of Assassin’s Creed Origins, their series has taken more of an RPG approach with massive open world environments that may become tedious at times. While I enjoy these more RPG-oriented entries of Assassin’s Creed, I miss when stealth was more prevalent and so am delighted that we may finally see that in Assassin’s Creed Mirage which appears heavily inspired by original game released for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in 2007.
As the launch date of Assassin’s Creed Mirage draws nearer, now would be an excellent opportunity to pre-download digital orders of this latest entry in time for its arrival on October 15th! You have no excuses now: start pre-downloading digital orders of Assassin’s Creed Mirage now.
As reported on Reddit by user Arozeran, Uplay (Ubisoft’s own launcher for Ubisoft games) now allows a pre-download for PlayStation, while Xbox already had pre-load available since days prior. At time of writing it is expected that pre-load for PS will also become available soon after release (two days away at present).
Additionally, free downloads for Assassin’s Creed Mirage can now be claimed – its open world was so accurate it caused one historian to shed tears of nostalgia!
On October 5th 2023, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be made available for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
