Are You Subscribe to PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium Tiers? Take Note! Both catalogues will lose 16 games collectively over the coming weeks – some AAA open world smash hits included!

Since Sony Pictures Core’s introduction on PS4/5 consoles, PlayStation Plus premium subscribers now have access to over 100 films as part of their subscriptions. While Sony Pictures Core may seem like an attractive perk, fans argue it doesn’t justify recent price rises for games instead of movies; we await to see whether October extra and premium game drop impresses in that respect; essential tier titles for October include The Callisto Protocol, Farming Simulator 22 and Wild West as this month’s essential lineup improvement; however 16 titles will leave these extra and premium tiers come 17 October, so make sure that if that entices you if desired – they won’t stay long!

On 17 October, several games will be leaving the extra tier catalogue: The Quarry, Far Cry 4, Far Cry 5 The Medium Inside Limbo Limbo Crew Naruto To Boruto Shinobi Striker Clouds Sheep 2 Asterbreed Torque Gal Gunvolt Goosebumps: The Game. Additionally Yakuza 3 Remastered 4 Remastered and 5 Remastered will leave the premium tier.

As previously noted, The Quarry is certainly worth checking out and should take approximately eight to 10 hours for you to finish before 17 October arrives. Also of great note will be Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 5, both likely lasting 18-25 hours each, creating an additional challenge!

Saddening to see several Yakuza titles depart the premium tier is also heartbreaking, since this subcategory sees far fewer additions each month compared to extra. Be warned and start playing, my friends.
