PlayStation Plus free games have been confirmed for November 2023.
November’s PlayStation Plus Essential free games have officially been confirmed and it should prove an exciting month for subscribers.
PlayStation Plus’ year has seen both ups and downs so far in 2019. A significant price hike was met with little enthusiasm among subscribers; furthermore, recent free game offerings such as October 2023’s Callisto Protocol, Farming Simulator 22 and Weird West weren’t particularly well received; will November be any better?
Well, that is subjective of course; but we can tell you which PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers will be downloading as free games on 7 November: Mafia II: Definitive Edition, Aliens: Fireteam Elite and Dragon Ball: The Breakers.
As much as people might try, reactions from this month so far haven’t exactly been enthusiastic.
“What a dismal showing after raising prices,” complained one Twitter user.
One player commented, stating: “Unfortunately, another month has come and gone without adding even one game to my collection – two horrible months in a row!”
“I can’t recall when was the last time I instantly played one of these monthly titles – instead, I will simply add them to my library without playing as often,” one user shared their perspective.
Imponent of balance, I tried my hardest to gather positive reviews regarding November 2023’s free games; unfortunately this task proved futile. At best people referred to November as being just “okay”, which in view of its price increase may not quite satisfy all users.
Let’s hope December 2023 will prove more optimistic; although, given what happened during October and November I wouldn’t hold my breath too tightly for any changes.
