PlayStation Plus subscribers now enjoy over $289 worth of new free games.
PlayStation Plus subscription services make the ultimate gift, since you keep giving without stopping! As long as your subscription costs don’t increase significantly over time.
Each month, PS Plus subscribers are treated to an assortment of gaming goodness whether they subscribe to Essential, Extra or Premium tier. Of course, as your subscription level rises so will the number of titles at your disposal for playing!
PS Plus Essential is similar to how Sony initially set up their subscription service before revamping it in 2022; offering new games every month along with exclusive discounts and DLC. While PS Plus Extra contains everything found within Essential as well as offering more PlayStation 5 and 4 game selection.
PS Plus Premium subscribers get everything that’s been offered previously as well as access to even more games such as PS1, PSP, PS2 and PS3 titles, trials, cloud streaming and much more. Recently Sony also added their Sony Pictures Core movie catalogue exclusively for Premium members.
Sony recently unveiled the lineup for November 2023’s PS Plus Extra and Premium offerings, while Redditor Big-Teddy provided information regarding their value without taking into account classic games from Premium Tier offerings; collectively these games would add up to approximately $289 (roughly equivalent to PS234) when purchased individually at maximum RRP prices.
Unfortunately, none of the November 2023 PS Plus offerings will blow your socks off and that includes those offered through Essential. Fans have become so disenchanted with recent PS Plus offerings that some are opting out altogether; even if only a select few games strike your fancy though, saving a substantial sum compared to buying those individually would still add value and save some pennies along the way!
PS Plus subscribers should find something more joyful when Sony unveils its lineup for PS Plus in December 2023.
