Skyrim meets God of War in this exciting Unreal Engine 5 RPG experience!
Imagine playing a game that combined elements from God of War and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim into one package; that indeed exists! But be wary, because there may be caveats involved with playing such an experience.
God of War games have long been famed for their high-octane combat, whether Kratos is taking down Greek gods from antiquity or modern Norse gods such as Ragnarok from 2018. Even Skyrim draws heavily upon Scandinavian Norse mythology which makes today’s topical game all the more appealing!
WEMADE Studio of South Korea have created Legend of YMIR, an open world MMORPG powered by Unreal Engine 5. To call Legend of YMIR visually pleasing would be an understatement; let’s just hope when released it plays every bit as beautifully!
Legend of YMIR will serve as an extension to WEMADES’ MIR series and feature PvP battles via sieges as well as exploration. As with most MMORPGs, Legend of YMIR may include NFT implementation which may or may not have an effect on gameplay; as yet we don’t know exactly how this might manifest, but keeping an eye out should probably be worth your while as being told your favorite MMO includes NFTs can never be good news.
At first glance it may appear perplexing that so many upcoming games still include non-fiat currencies despite blockchain echo systems decreasing in effectiveness.
At present, Legend of YMIR appears likely to only release on PC and may never reach PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S consoles – however we will keep an eye out!
