GTA 6 fans are devastated over Rockstar’s decision to cancel GTA 6.
No matter our excitement upon witnessing GTA VI trailer after waiting so long, it comes with its fair share of sadness when cancelled Rockstar projects are revealed. Please excuse us while we grieve the great games which may have existed if only fate had seen fit…
Some cancelled projects won’t come as a shock; we already knew Bully 2, long desired by fans, would never come. With its code being discovered in GTA V’s database it feels even deeper like hope is diminishing with each day passing; one fan even begged, “Please don’t give me hope for Bully 2!”
Now that both GTA V DLCs were cancelled and an open-world zombie game wasn’t made a priority, we are left feeling devastated at what might have been had these plans been realized successfully.
Worse still, some gamers have speculated that GTA VI marks the end of Rockstar altogether – much to many others’ shock and surprise! One Redditor suggested as much: he stated this would happen should GTA VI become such an enormous success that Rockstar becomes dominant within its industry and could soon cease operations altogether!
Grief may be at play here… Whatever its source may be, however it manifests, we hope Rockstar won’t cease operations any time soon – our community has experienced enough grief without them calling it quits as well!
So let us try looking forward to happier times when the GTA VI trailer finally drops and we all become excited by its announcement.
