Stardew Valley is an absolutely delightful game; I don’t believe I could ever tire of playing it, its endlessly enjoyable fun being combined with comforting homeyness… the list goes on. Although, as much as I love Stardew Valley I wouldn’t turn down another slice of its delightful world.

Created by modder FlashShifter, the mod does exactly what its creator promised – adding tons of new content like characters, six marriage candidates, map changes and events as well as fish crops furniture etc. According to Polygon reports it has had over 1.8 Million unique downloads so far! It truly stands as one of the premier mods out there and should definitely not be overlooked!
FlashShifter (real name Devin Hedegaard), initially became interested in Stardew Valley upon seeing his brother playing it on PlayStation 4. When Hedegaard reached 100% completion on Stardew Valley he turned his focus toward mods despite reaching full 100% completion: ‘I still wanted more, so I started teaching myself how to mod’
Hedegaard told Polygon, “There’s an awesome community here and so much you can do once you start playing the game; as well as learning so much on how to handle any issues that come up regarding game breaks or mod breaks and what needs fixing.”
Creator Michael Kester has been tirelessly working on updating Stardew Valley Expanded mod since 2015; various features will soon be made available that have been in development since three years.
