Rockstar Games was not responsible for this act of vandalism and that its perpetrators must bear sole blame.

Ned Luke, who played Michael De Santa in GTA V, was playing GTA Online live stream when law enforcement intervened and interrupted his gameplay experience.

Luke received a phone call during his stream from an anonymous caller, whom after briefly speaking, abruptly ended their dialogue by telling their viewers “Alright I gotta go, these ******* have hit my house so it’s time for me to leave”.

Swatting, which involves calling the police and providing someone’s address in order to cause as many police to show up at their door as possible. Swatting can be dangerous harassment technique used against victims who threaten others with violence and weapons.

Sickening, abusive behavior has long plagued streamers; once one’s address becomes accessible or leaked out there’s little they can do to stop it.

Ned Luke’s viewers responded in mixed ways; some expressed sympathy, while others blamed Rockstar Games’ security measures as the culprit behind so many GTA Online streamers being shut down over time.

“Rockstar had nothing to do with this; these individuals leaked my private info years ago, then started acting maliciously against me online ever since.”

Luke managed to resolve his issues without suffering physical harm or experiencing further issues during livestreams, with no lasting complications as a result of their resolution.

Ned Luke recently hinted at returning to GTA projects with future DLC for GTA Online or even appearing as a guest star in GTA VI.

Not knowing whether this was meant as an intentional tease or simply to play around is impossible to predict; but given how we have seen so many familiar characters pop back up through the years, anything seems plausible.
