Although no exact release date for Red Dead Redemption II can be predicted, that hasn’t stopped fans from dreaming up incredible concepts and fun ideas!

One such idea for Red Dead Redemption 3 is having a female protagonist. All three games to date – when including Red Dead Revolver – feature male leads; it may be refreshing and interesting to switch up this aspect for Red Dead Redemption 3. We don’t know when Take-Two Interactive plans on releasing Red Dead Redemption 3, but at least the third-numbered entry will come one day soon enough!

Red Dead Redemption 3 remains undecided as to its specific locations; however, we expect Texas and parts of Mexico will most certainly feature prominently. Like Rockstar Games’ other massive franchise, Grand Theft Auto, each entry in Red Dead Redemption’s series has grown in scope over time and we expect Red Dead Redemption 3 to follow suit.

At Red Dead Redemption 3, one fan went the extra mile in creating an immense map for Red Dead Redemption 3. RemnantHelmet posted “Red Dead 4 Concept Map – A True Western” on Reddit; basically this concept map merges elements from Red Dead Redemption 2 with Mexico; however it wouldn’t do justice in terms of size compared to actual game version; just think Red Dead Redemption 2, roughly times three.

RemnantHelmet explained, “This project represents what I think would be the ideal Red Dead game based on realistic development time and resources, setting it from its true West roots through to California during 1880,” set apart by being entirely devoid of Van der Linde gang elements and needing its own subtitle instead of Red Dead Redemption 3.

Assuming Red Dead Redemption 3 comes out sometime during this console generation, we at least still get to enjoy current-gen console versions of Red Dead games while waiting.
