Pizza Party Time! FFXIV Unveils Pizza Emote and Furnishing Item
Final Fantasy XIV may have accidentally set players up for an ideal Friendsgiving celebration with its addition of a pizza-eating emote and pizza furnishing item for purchase from its cash shop on Oct 20 by Square Enix through official social media accounts of Final Fantasy XIV.
These two items, the Eat Pizza Emote and Pepperoni Pizza Set are now available on the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store and cost $7.00 and $5.00, respectively. Previously made available through Grubhub promotions of 2021 where players needed to order $15 worth of food to receive a code for this emote code.
By way of creative accounting, players could use this code even though promotion wasn’t technically available there; making Japan the first market where this emote would become accessible.
Pepperoni Pizza Set furnishing is another new item available, although initially intended as another promotional product. When purchasing it once you will get five Pepperoni Pizza sets that serve as furnishing pieces – and visually this appears to come complete with side dishes and beverages as well!
Consumable items provide users with meal item effects; once all uses have been fulfilled the item will be used up.
Overall, this setup makes for the ideal pizza party setup: five pizzas and an emote! All that remains are friends or FC to accompany it and plenty of people snacking away thanks to an emote throughout Eorzea!
