Pirates seem to be all the rage right now, with several epic pirate adventures being released in recent years, like Skull and Bones from Ubisoft.
IfSunSets takes an innovative approach to pirate fantasy gaming by infusing traditional elements with survivalist elements. As seen in its latest footage, one pirate attempts to survive life on an island filled with dangers, caves and lootable containers – seemingly alone on this quest for glory!
This game takes inspiration from Valheim but with pirates. There’s an enormous world to discover while crafting weapons, clothing, furniture and food to stay alive – as well as tools that allow harvesting materials and food. It all adds up to an exciting pirate-filled experience!
Our protagonist finds themselves immersed in an idyllic world full of lush vegetation, rugged rocks and distant oceans. Exploration may seem relatively safe during daylight hours but animals could spring up unexpectedly at any moment; monsters have even been hinted at appearing overnight! Staying alive here requires constant battle against hunger thirst and fatigue: cooking meals or surveying areas for drinkable water may help; you could also investigate abandoned cave systems to seek precious materials or head underground looking out for rare ores; the game footage even features chests full of pirate loot!
IfSunSets promises to be an exciting title that offers new ways to explore pirate life through adventure and survival gameplay. Built using Unreal Engine 5, expect gorgeous waters with beautiful lighting effects when playing this title scheduled to release early 2024.
