Fallout meets Dead Island for an incredible new zombie game!
If you think zombie survival was over and done with, think again; an amazing new upcoming game combines Fallout with Dead Island to give us our zombie outbreak we have all been secretly planning for!
Due to my fear that zombies would kill quickly when faced with an outbreak, I tend to avoid games like Outbreak Island; but even I must acknowledge its benefits: providing entertainment while staying safe against zombies’ growing forces of destruction.
The story centers around an individual visiting an island to understand what’s happened there; each night presents new challenges as you work toward that end. While not an original concept or particularly logically sound decision to enter its belly of a monster, such is often how horror games work: had characters taken their intended action instead (ie flee) such as running away then these types of games would end much quicker than intended.
Similar to Fallout 4, Outbreak Island tests your building and defense skills while necessitating you to find food and water to survive; especially since everyone wants you for dinner! Everything about Outbreak Island tests your survival capabilities as the challenge to your survival abilities arises quickly…! Can you even endure one night on Outbreak Island…?
Outbreak Island was developed using Unreal Engine and looks stunning! Recently we’ve seen many beautiful games; GTA 6 being particularly notable due to us finally watching its trailer; Outbreak Island follows this same vein; its incredible looks leaving fans stunned; however unlike Rockstar’s forthcoming title it won’t be available exclusively through consoles – making Steam your main platform of choice to experience Outbreak Island.
Initial plans called for Outbreak Island’s release by 2023; while that remains a possibility, considering we’re now into December there may not be much time left before its debut in early 2024 – however we hope for an earlier launch date if possible!
