GTA 6 features an immense State, making its map even bigger than imagined.
Fans have already begun dissecting the GTA VI trailer and commenting on its expansive open world setting.
Rockstar Games made history today when they unexpectedly leaked GTA VI’s trailer early, forcing its developer’s hand and giving fans access to it before its official debut today, 5 December.
No one is complaining though; GTA V’s trailer debut set all sorts of records when it was unveiled back in 2007. We certainly can’t complain either about GTA VI being one of the most highly anticipated video game trailers ever.
After carefully scrutinizing the trailer for every detail, it’s clear it looks absolutely breathtaking – while 2025 might sting somewhat, you know it will be well worth your wait. Unfortunately for PC players though, as neither Xbox nor PlayStation platforms were mentioned as supported platforms upon launch – their wait may take much longer!
At the core of GTA VI’s trailer are aerial views of its vast open world. Both GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 broke new ground when it comes to open world gaming, raising expectations that GTA VI can fully utilize new-gen hardware.
Vice City, the confirmed location for Grand Theft Auto 5, appears to have changed drastically since our last look and now seems larger than a US state, supporting previous leaks of gameplay leaks indicating there will be plenty of terrain to discover and explore.
What truly sets it apart, however, is the expansive world and its inhabitants that is showcased through this trailer: there was hyper-realistic NPC behavior with what looks like hundreds of people going about their daily lives; which you may or may not interact with during gameplay.
GTA VI will make its mark sometime around 2025; no specific release date has yet been disclosed.
