Rockstar released an early trailer of GTA 6 earlier today that confirms a 2025 release window for it.
Well, this wasn’t what we anticipated: Rockstar Games planned on unveiling GTA VI’s inaugural trailer tomorrow (5 December at 2pm GMT/ 9am ET), yet here I am today, 4 December telling you it is already available online to view! Yes indeed.
Tomorrow brings with it, among many things, GTA VI’s anticipated first trailer! Unfortunately though, leaks in the gaming industry can sometimes get in the way and this trailer apparently leaked online 14 hours early, prompting Rockstar Games to respond via twitter by saying their trailer has leaked and encouraging viewers to view “the real deal on YouTube”. Finally though, it has arrived and please feast your eyes upon GTA VI’s very first trailer below!
Jason and Lucia were suspected to be our protagonists based on last year’s leak, and now it seems we have confirmation. The trailer takes place entirely in present-day settings with flashbacks to 1980s unlikely due to no evidence. Vice City is also confirmed within its borders through leaks.
After much speculation and fan speculation regarding Rockstar’s plans to drop numbering altogether, GTA VI was finally confirmed and fans can rest easy knowing it is finally confirmed as GTA VI with release window information provided: unfortunately 2025 will have to do. But those graphics look incredible so we will all have something worth waiting for soon enough!
IF THIS IS JUST A TASTEFUL OF WHATS TO COME… we could all be in for an incredible treat that I know has been worth the wait.
