Stardew Valley meets Animal Crossing in this new free game: Stardew Valley meets Animal Crossing

Palia has quickly become one of my favourite cozy games this year; and I’ve only just had time to discover it. Fans of Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing: New Horizons or Disney Dreamlight Valley should especially love Palia; plus anyone wanting a nostalgic life-sim will surely take an interest!

Created by Singularity 6 Corporation, Palia is an action-adventure RPG featuring elements such as farming, exploration, crafting and life simulation. Palia offers lush environments where players can farm crops while exploring and crafting with friends while discovering an exciting journey full of colorful characters and mysteries to uncover – I think its trailer speaks for itself.”

Palia is currently available on PC and Nintendo Switch with Steam due soon – absolutely free and I highly suggest giving it a go this festive season! In this MMO you will build and tend to your own home/garden while visiting those of friends created within its borders – giving this game something of a Fortnite vibe combined with Fae Farm-esque charm – definitely worthy of giving a try over this festive period!

Palia goes far beyond simply growing crops; instead it requires taking part in an investigation: “Unravel an ancient mystery regarding what became of ancient humans while exploring an unfamiliar world alongside other players. Make friends with local Majiri tribe members by learning their backstories, forging relationships, and perhaps even experiencing romance! That’s right – romance options exist too – what cosy game would be complete without romance options?

Palia offers hundreds of craftable items and could easily keep players busy for many hours – it’s completely free, too, so there’s no harm in giving this game a go!
